By May 18, the storm could reach the coast of Gujarat.

Alarm sounded from a helicopter
Security agencies, including the Coast Guard, have been alerted following the hurricane. Following this, a helicopter was used in Madhavpur village by the Coast Guard in Porbandar to warn the people. The siren sounded in the helicopter and people were appealed to be careful. While in coastal areas including Madhavpur, especially fishermen were instructed not to plow the sea.
Heavy rains begin in Saurashtra due to climate change
