Mount Everest is the fourth highest mountain on earth. Mount Everest is located between China and Nepal. So far more than 4000 people have climbed Mount Everest more than 9000 times. Mount Everest is one of the most dangerous mountains in the world due to the terrible winters and low oxygen.

Some mountaineers climbed to the top of Mount Everest and shot a video in 360 degree angle which went viral on Twitter. The viral video also shows the earth rotating.


Mount Everest was discovered by Noel Odell in 1924

The first marine fossil on Mount Everest was discovered by Noel Odell in 1924. From which it is known that this giant mountain is about 60 million years old. The limestone and sandstone found on top of it were under the sea about 45 million years ago. 

Mount Everest rises 40 centimeters every century. 

The Himalayas were formed due to the impact of the Indian plate on the Eurasian plate. It rises by 4 millimeters per year and a total of 40 centimeters per century. Mount Everest is not very far from the center of the earth. If there is one highest mountain above the center of the earth, it is Mount Chimborazo in Ecuador, South America. 

Its height is 6310 meters.
